DAY 2: CAT BA ISLAND – LAN HA BAY CRUISE – HA NOI (B, L)
Highlight: Cruise past floating fishing villages & Lan Ha Bay – Seafood Buffet – Bike trip in Viet Hai Village – Kayaking & Beach Adventure – Sunset Party
10:00: After breakfast from the hostel (from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM), the bus will pick you up to Beo Pier for the cruise.
11:00: Welcome abroad The Cat Ba Catamaran. The crew will greet you with refreshing drinks as we depart from the Pier. Please get ready for an exciting day of guided exploration through the beautiful Lan Ha Bay.
11:45 – 12:30 – Cat Ba Seafood Buffet: Feast yourself a delicious, fresh seafood buffet prepared by our talented chef, while taking in the scenic views of Cat Ba Island.
This is the perfect way to recharge for more fun. You will also visit famous landmarks such as Cai Beo Fishing Village and Turtle Islet, as you enjoy the panoramic beauty of Lan Ha Bay.
12:30 – 14:00 – Bike trip to Explore Viet Hai Village: You’ll discover the peaceful local life, marvel at limestone mountains, explore primeval forests, and view lush rice fields. It’s a truly immersive experience with a perfect mix of nature and local culture.
14:00 – 15:45 – Kayaking & Beach Adventure: Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Lan Ha Bay. Explore mysterious caves and kayak along untouched beaches. Enjoy some free time to hike to the viewpoint for panoramic scenery, take photo or relax on the beach.
Swim in the emerald waters of this secluded paradise, surrounded by stunning mountains. For adrenaline seekers, try boat jumping, the floating trampoline, swimming or thrilling water slides.
16:00 – Epic Sunset Party: Cap off your amazing day with a vibrant sunset beach party. Enjoy music, delicious food and refreshing drinks while you relax and take in the most beautiful sunset on Cat Ba Island. As the sun dips below the horizon, say goodbye to the breathtaking scenery of Lan Ha Bay and we’ll head back to Cai Beo Pier, with memories to last a lifetime.
16:45: Get the bus back to Hanoi from the Pier. Arrival back in your place Hanoi Old Quarter at around 20:00.

Travel Insurance is NOT included. We strongly recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on confirmed departure dates.
Fees will be charged in event of booking cancellations:
- Before 48 hours: 25% of booking cost
- 24hours-48hours: 50% of booking cost
- within 24hours or no shows: 100% of booking cost
- Due to limited vehicle space and the nature of accommodation, we ask that you limit yourself to a maximum of 15 kgs in a backpack or overnight bag.

No. There is a fully licensed and stocked bar on the Cruise. While we want everyone to have a blast, your safety is our main concern. This ensures responsible drinking practices with measured amounts of real, quality alcohol. Please read the waiver you will sign upon departure carefully and understand that we reserve the right to confiscate any contraband found and remove any individual from the Cruise without refund that is putting others or themselves at risk.
The trip departs from our Vietnam Cheers Hostel at 05 AU TRIEU Street, Hanoi Oldquarter at 8:00 AM, Or we will pick you up from your place in Hanoi.
You will be eating a Vietnamese buffet prepared on the Cruise by our local cooks, most of them are seafood. If you are vegetarian, have food allergies or do not eat seafood we can cater to you. If you have very specific dietary needs, please discuss this at the time of booking.
